RENTAL CONDITIONS AND INFORMATIONS

. All charges are Vat include 15%. Both rates and government tax
are subject to change without previous notice. All rates in
Euros. Promotions and discounts not accumulate.
Terms of Payment and Rental Guarantees
Estimated rental costs have to be paid at rental celebration and
any adjustments due might be applied at car
return. To guarantees for rental, Ilha
Verde Rent a Car recognized credit cards may be used, (Avis,
Europcar, Visa, MasterCard, Euro card, American Express,
Diner’s)
Driver’s Age
Minimum 23 years old, with a minimum of one year driving
experience and Ilha Verde Rent a car honored credit cards
identification.
Fuel
Is not included in the rates. Ilha Verde cars are delivered with
a full tank and must refilled with “Super, Unleaded 98 Octane’s”
grade petrol or “Diesel” (as applicable) on termination of
rental. A refueling service charge 11.50€ will apply. Please ask
for details of our prepaid fuel service option.
Deliveries and Collections (Outside Ilha Verde Rent a Car
Stations)
Free of charge in Ilha Verde Rent a Car Stations during normal
office hours, outside an additional charge is applicable, €
23.00.
Airport Service Charge:
€ 23.00/rental (Rentals starting at airports)
Airport Drop Off:
€ 7.00/rental (Not starting at airports)
Road Service Charge:
All rentals are subject to this surcharge, per day € 1,20/Day
until maximum € 18.00/rental
Child Safety Seat:
€ 5,75/Day until maximum € 57,50/rental
Minimum Rental:
One day (24.00 hours). Extra hours are calculated at 1/3 of the
daily rate.
Rates Include:
Insurance as described in the following item below, oil,
greasing and normal maintenance of the car.
Insurance:
Rates include Unlimited Public Liability until 50.000.000.00€,
the renter is responsible for all damage caused in the car, as
well as the days of immobilization.
CDW
–
(Collision
Damage Waiver):
This liability may be waived upon payment of an additional CDW,
which must be accepted at the beginning of the rental and
proceed accordingly.
In case of accident client responsable for the Non Waivable
Excess.In
the absence of deliberate violation of the Terms and Conditions
of the rental agreement or gross negligence, the renter is
liable for damage caused to the Ilha Verde car.
TP (Theft Protection):
In the absence of deliberate violation of the Terms and
Conditions of the rental agreement or gross negligence, the
renter is liable for theft off all or part to the Ilha Verde
car. This liability may be waived upon payment of an additional
TP, which must be accepted at the beginning of the rental in
conjunction with Super Cdw and proceed accordingly.
SUPER CDW:
Customer’s Non Waivable Excess liability may be further reduced
if Super Cdw is purchased at the beginning of rental with Cdw
and Tp. Not available for groups M/N/O. The Super Cdw doesn’t
cover: Damage under the car and rim or tire destroyed.
WDW (Windscreen Damage Waiver):
This coverage provides, if purchased at the beginning of the
rental, with Cdw, Tp, Super Cdw, reduced the charge for Minimum
Non Waivable Charge. Not available for groups G/H/H1/K/M/N/O.
CPJ (Tire/Rim Damage Waiver):
This coverage provides, if purchased at the beginning of the
rental,
exempt payment of damages in rim and tires.
Not available for groups G/H/H1/K/M/N/O/S*.
Personal Assistance Coverage (P.A.I):
This coverage the following maximum cover renter and each
passenger, disablement or death € 14.963.94 and medical expenses
€ 1.496.39.
